The National Weather Service warned us to expect a wild weekend and the forecast was spot on.
Incline Village picked up roughly seven feet of new snow over the past four days, accompanied by strong wind.
Capstone crews worked 12-18 hour days over the weekend and did a spectacular job keeping our community up and running. Feedback from homeowners has been overwhelmingly positive.
“They have done a fantastic job today with the big snow,” said one resident in an email.
Capstone is still learning the peculiarities of Incline Pines– where to dump snow without impacting individual homeowners, where ice melt is most needed, etc.
HOA board president Heidi Burton says the HOA will share post-season notes with Capstone in the spring.
Please let us know if you’ve got any ideas to make our snow removal operations even better!
