After weeks of warm and dry weather, the Sierra Nevada is getting some substantial spring snowfall.
Palisades Tahoe (Squaw Valley) reports 8″ of new snow. Diamond Peak is closed for the season but Mt. Rose remains open through next weekend.
It’s nice to see winter’s not quite done yet. A chance of more snow remains in the forecast for most of the week.
